From learning to doing: experience the full product design cycle in two weeks.

The Sprint Track

2 weeks of real-world collaboration.

Work on a live startup brief where ambiguity, and AI, are part of the challenge. You’ll learn how to break down complex problems, connect design decisions to business metrics, and deliver outcomes that matter, fast. Along the way, you’ll sharpen your judgment: knowing when AI’s output helps, when it hurts, and how to challenge it to get better results. The top work is reviewed by founders in our fireside chat and shared with the sprint’s partner startup.

The Theory Track

Async learning that builds real-world confidence.
Learn the frameworks and product principles that prepare you for the sprint, from how to frame problems and use AI with intent, to designing for outcomes, not aesthetics. You’ll move from learning to applying with clarity and speed.

Two weeks that simulate the pace of real startups & product teams.

Week 0

Get settled in.
Join the community, set up your sprint board, and meet other designers. You’ll also get access to our private Discord space and optional hangout hours , your place to ask questions, connect, or just share progress before the sprint kicks off.

Week 1

Frame and explore.
Get the real brief and watch a kick off call from an AI startup. Learn to define user and business success metrics, understand user context, and reframe problems like a strategist. This week is about breaking ambiguity down into clarity, and learning how to challenge AI’s outputs, not just use them.

Module 1: Unpack your brief & set up your sprint tools

Module 2: Clarify the problem and define success metrics

Module 3: Map the current user journey and spot opportunity zones

Module 4: Turn flows into a testable lo-fi experience prototype

Week 1

Mid-week async feedback

Virtual Community hangouts

Week 2

Build and refine.
Transform your concepts into real product experiences grounded in user feedback. Learn to use AI-powered tools like Figma Make, Cursor, and Claude Code to build interactive prototypes, not static screens. You’ll connect design decisions to business impact, explain your thinking with confidence, and master how to present and defend ideas that resonate with product teams and decision-makers.

Module 5: Scrappy user testing

Module 6: Polish your experience with user insights

Module 7: Prepare your file for devs

Module 8: Storytelling and presenting your work

End of Sprint

Fireside chat & project showcase.
Join the partner founder and the startup team for a live session where the top sprint projects are revealed and discussed. You’ll hear why they were selected, get real insight into how product teams evaluate design decisions, and learn what makes great work stand out under real conditions.

Module 9: Final Submission

Module 10: Feedback & Labs Badge 🥇

Week 1

1-1 Review of entire sprint work.

You know your way around product design.

We encourage designers of all levels to join — but you should understand UX/UI fundamentals, and how to communicate ideas visually in Figma.

You’re comfortable building with modern tools.

We provide Figma Education access for the sprint, but you should already feel at home using Figma, we don’t teach the basics. You’ll also experiment with tools like Figma Make, Claude, Cursor, and Subframe to design faster and smarter.

You can dedicate focused time for two weeks.

Expect to spend around 8–12 hours per week moving from research to prototype. You’ll have a mid-week async review, a final deadline at the end of the sprint, and a 1-on-1 feedback session once it wraps. It’s fast-paced, structured, and designed to mimic the rhythm of a real product team.
